Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific needs of clients.
  • Facilitate discussions focused on identifying challenges, developing coping strategies, and establishing treatment goals that enhance client safety and confidentiality.
  • Implement treatment programs addressing mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnosis, helping clients manage their symptoms effectively.
  • Utilize our cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system to document sessions, track client progress, and maintain compliance for all insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans that reflect best practices and client-centered care.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical practice, ensuring all services are delivered with respect, dignity, and professionalism.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and adhere to continuing education requirements for licensure renewal.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including those facing various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other psychological conditions. Your ability to assess individual needs and provide tailored interventions will play a crucial role in their recovery journey, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mental health counseling is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage client caseload with high autonomy and responsibility.
  • Proficient in using technology for remote counseling, including a reliable desktop or laptop with video conferencing capability.
  • Background check clearance as mandated by state regulations.
  • Flexibility to accommodate some evenings and weekends as required for client availability.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with telehealth services and digital therapeutic tools is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within a community health setting or a multidisciplinary team is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The salary range for this position is competitive, between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
