Job description

At Kake, we build long-term partnerships between companies and world-class engineering teams. We’re looking for a Partner Account Executive with a proven track record selling IT Staff Augmentation, Dedicated Engineering Teams, or software engineering outsourcing services to U.S.-based clients.

You’ll own the full sales cycle, generating new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building, while developing relationships with senior decision-makers and representing Kake in client-facing interactions. This role involves travel and regular communication with prospective partners.

While this is an individual contributor role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative executive team that shares ideas, supports one another, and works together to grow the business. Strong performers will have opportunities to take on additional leadership responsibilities as Kake scales.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and relationship-building.

  • Build, manage, and maintain your own sales pipeline from initial outreach through close.

  • Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing partners.

  • Represent Kake confidently in both remote and in-person meetings.

  • Negotiate and close deals while building trust throughout the sales process.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure strong alignment between client needs and delivery.

  • Track pipeline activity, maintain accurate reporting, and use data to continuously improve performance.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience working with U.S.-based clients.

  • Experience selling IT Staff Augmentation, Dedicated Engineering Teams, or software engineering outsourcing services.

  • Demonstrated success sourcing, prospecting, and closing new business through outbound sales efforts.

  • Experience independently building and managing a sales pipeline.

  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), engineering roles, software delivery processes, and global engineering teams.

  • A strong track record of closing deals and building long-term client relationships.

  • Experience working within remote-first teams and distributed environments.

  • Sales team leadership experience is a plus - because leadership opportunities come fast here for the right people.
