Partner Account Executive
At Kake, we build long-term partnerships between companies and engineering teams. We're looking for a Partner Engagement Executive who is proactive, relationship-driven, and excited about helping companies rethink how they build software teams.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing external relationships, and representing Kake in client-facing interactions. This role involves travel and regular communication with prospective partners.
While this is an individual contributor role, you'll work closely with a collaborative executive team that supports each other, shares ideas, and works together to grow the business. Strong performers will have opportunities to take on additional leadership responsibilities as the company scales.
This role is best suited for someone based near Austin, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, or Chicago - and willing to travel.
What You'll Do
Generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, events, and relationship-building.
Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing partners.
Represent Kake clearly and confidently in both remote and in-person meetings.
Manage and maintain your pipeline, reporting activity and using data to improve performance.
Negotiate and close deals while building trust throughout the sales process.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure strong alignment between client needs and delivery.
What You Bring
5+ years of B2B field sales experience working with US-based clients.
Experience selling staff augmentation, technology consulting services, or software development outsourcing.
Familiarity with SDLC terminology, engineering roles, software delivery processes, and global outsourcing models.
A strong track record of closing deals and managing long-term client relationships.
Confidence with prospecting, cold outreach, and pipeline development.
Experience working within remote-first teams and distributed environments.
Sales team leadership experience is a plus - because leadership opportunities come fast here for the right people.
