✅ Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • ARRT (R) OR RCIS required
  • EP experience required
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
  • Vascular experience required
  • Monitoring experience required
  • Neuro experience required
  • Experience with Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath
  • Recent experience with STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart
  • Experience with Structural Heart procedures, including PFO, TAVR & Mitral Clip
  • Experience with Neurointervention and stroke thrombectomy
  • Experience with CRM device implants
  • Epic charting experience required

📋 Schedule & Other Details
  • Call: 1 shift per week + every 4th weekend
  • Some Saturdays may be part of the regular 4-shift schedule
  • Float: Required; may float to IR and EP
  • Block Schedule: Not available
  • Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
  • Traveler may be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks
  • Locals: Not accepted — permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
  • RTO: Must be submitted upfront; only 1 RTO request per 13-week assignment
  • Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's
  • Charting: Epic
  • Scrubs: Provided
  • Parking: Free

Providence Alaska Medical Center is an Acute Hospital, Magnet Facility and Level II Trauma Center, with 407 staffed beds.

📌 Travel Compliance
  • SSN & DOB required
  • 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Copy of certifications required
  • Valid state license; pending license may be submitted
  • Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate facilities
  • Former Providence permanent staff must be separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
  • Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers/declination not accepted
  • Average pre-start modules: approximately 16 hours, non-billable
