Position Overview

Knights Armor Security is seeking dependable, professional, and licensed Flex Armed Security Officers to join our growing team. This position is ideal for officers who are flexible, reliable, and willing to work a variety of assignments, including retail, commercial, residential, construction, special events, and executive protection support.
As a Flex Armed Security Officer, you will be assigned to multiple client locations to cover open shifts, vacations, special events, and emergency staffing needs. Candidates must demonstrate excellent judgment, strong customer service skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to different environments.
Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned properties on foot and/or in a vehicle.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems.
  • Control access to facilities and verify identification.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and suspicious activity.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
  • Enforce client policies and company procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Assist law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Perform additional security duties as assigned based on client needs.
Qualifications
  • Valid Armed Security License (state-required).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on short notice.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening (if required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military, law enforcement, or prior armed security experience.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
  • Experience with report writing and de-escalation techniques.
