Duties

• Oversee transportation planning and freight management, including coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PL) partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and vendor management terms with suppliers and carriers to maximize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate demand planning, production scheduling, and procurement activities using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to align supply with customer demand.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards for import/export activities while managing documentation for customs clearance.

Experience

• Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a strong background in logistics management, warehouse experience, or transportation planning.
• Demonstrated proficiency with, transportation management systems (TMS)
• Strong data analysis skills utilizing spreadsheets, SQL queries, and analysis tools such as Tableau for supply chain analytics.
• Hands-on experience with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, sourcing strategies, and category management.
• Skilled in negotiation, vendor management, contract administration, and trade compliance practices related to international trade regulations.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies within warehouse distribution or transportation processes.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across procurement, production planning, customer service, and warehouse teams.
