Warehouse 38: Attendant

Functions:

1. Pull yarn for orders needed on production floor
2. Understand and properly use inventory system
3. Receive, verify and organize incoming yarn shipments
4. Return, repack and reweigh yarns coming back from production floor
5. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area
6. Maintain open line of communication
7. Other duties as assigned

Equipment Used: Lifts, trucks, jacks, box cutters, computer, calculator

Requirements: Must be able to recognize and differentiate written numbers. Basic computer skills. Ability to lift 25 lbs. and move cases weighing up to 200 lbs. using hand trucks. Maintain STI certification on lifts/trucks. Must be able to continuously walk, bend, push, pull, stoop, stretch (arms and legs) and lift arms above head level while standing on cement floor. Not permitted outside of your assigned work area without your supervisor's knowledge.

Safety:

1. Hearing protection (when in required manufacturing areas) (company provided)
2. Safety glasses (when in required manufacturing areas) (company provided)
3. Use of proper lifting procedures
4. General housekeeping rules
5. Must complete and follow all required positional safety training
