KC Rehab is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Office Assistant to join our clinic team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer phones and manage incoming communications
• Schedule patient appointments and support clinic flow
• Assemble and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing-related documentation
• Ensure all required patient information is complete in the EMR system
• Process and send Plan of Care, progress notes, and other communications to physicians and referral sources
• Collect insurance co-pays
• Support general office duties such as faxing, filing, and mail distribution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• One or more years of medical office, records, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
