Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time — depending on availability
We are a small woman-owned dog boarding, daycare, and grooming facility looking for a reliable, hardworking, dog-loving professional to join our team in a receptionist and dog-caretaker role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and animals and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a professional environment.
This is NOT a typical desk receptionist position. While you will have receptionist and office responsibilities, the job is also highly hands-on and labor intensive.
Your responsibilities may include:
The first two weeks of employment will be dedicated to kennel training BEFORE beginning office/receptionist training.
We want every team member to understand our dogs, facility, procedures, and daily operations before moving into the office role.
Required:
Preferred:
We believe in promoting from within. Team members who demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership, reliability, and a willingness to learn will have opportunities to cross-train in different areas of the business and potentially move into management.
This position requires someone who is willing to work—not just sit behind a desk.
You will be handling dogs, cleaning, hiking, moving around the facility, and helping wherever needed. The job can be physically demanding, and every day may look a little different.
If you are looking for a strictly sedentary receptionist job, this is not the position for you.
We are looking for a serious applicant who is dependable, professional, hardworking, eager to learn, and genuinely passionate about working with dogs.
If you LOVE DOGS, enjoy staying busy, and want the opportunity to grow with a team, we would love to hear from you!
