WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A SENIOR PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER?
- Lead and mentor the preconstruction team across multiple projects
- Oversee estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk assessment
- Partner with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to align scope, cost, and schedule
- Serve as the primary client contact during preconstruction
- Drive value analysis and alternative solutions considering cost, schedule, and lifecycle impacts
- Lead project interviews and preconstruction strategy discussions
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies
- Continuously improve preconstruction processes and best practices
Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION NEEDED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 8-15 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management
- Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Deep understanding of construction costs, schedules, and constructability
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
- Experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Ediphi, PlanSwift, Togal.AI, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and BuildingConnected
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a team-first mindset
