Position Summary:
The position will provide a minimum of 40+ hours per week. Applicants will be trained on the job for the needed skills and continuing education opportunities. Responsibilities include managing customer's aquatic resources through regularly scheduled seasonal visits. Additional practices may include pesticide applications, water quality enhancement, aeration, etc. Employees engage in thorough data entry and processing, providing detailed information on aquatic management.ย This role will analyze customersโ needs and provide technical support for products sold, as well as engage in problem solving by working with industry partners and developing solutions for customer projects and requests. This role may also be responsible for seasonal installation and removal of pond aeration equipment, as well as maintenance of fleet vehicle and application equipment.
Essential Duties:
โขย ย ย ย ย ย This position will focus heavily on Commercial Aquatic Applications within our pond management department.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Develop and initiate management plans for clients
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Assessment of clients lake and/or pond with the ability to initiate the appropriate management protocol
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Water and sediment sampling
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Aquatic plant sampling and identification
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Installation of aeration systems, and decorative fountains
Qualifications:
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Must be well organized, highly motivated, and willing to work well with a team of professionals.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Possess a current IN driverโs license with a clean driving record.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Ability to drive combination truck/trailer non-CDL capacity and operate motor vehicles for periods of time
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Ability to work out of small boats and be a strong swimmer.
Special Conditions of Employment:
โขย ย ย ย ย ย Need to obtain an Applicators License within 30 days of employment. We will provide training materials to the successful applicant.
