Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, designed to foster a supportive and collaborative environment. This role operates on a standard work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a stable work-life balance. Our outpatient clinic is equipped with the latest technology and tools necessary for providing effective therapies, ensuring you have all resources at your disposal to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care by developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address each patient's specific goals and challenges.
• Manage a manageable patient load, allowing for undivided attention and customized attention to each individual's treatment process.
• Leverage your specialized knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to guide patients through rehabilitation protocols, with an emphasis on maximizing recovery outcomes.
• Administer non-surgical interventions that promote mobility and function while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, ensuring an effective blend of rehabilitation techniques.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that are tailored to the unique requirements of each patient, including age, physical condition, and personal goals.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to provide treatment that is backed by contemporary research, ensuring high standards for patient care.
• Foster motivation and encouragement in patients throughout their journey to recovery, acknowledging their efforts and progress.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle in patients by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness and document patients' progress accurately in our EMR system, particularly Web PT, ensuring compliance and precision in documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility. This position caters to a diverse demographic, including athletes, active adults, and seniors seeking to regain their physical capabilities. Each interaction will emphasize individualized care, instrumenting effective therapeutic strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent is required.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida is a must, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a proven track record of developing successful exercise therapies.
• Strong understanding and current knowledge of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Proficient in software applications, particularly EMR systems such as Web PT, for effective documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in implementing evidence-based treatment practices that enhance patient recovery.
• Experience in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
