- Deadhead flowers and perform light pruning under direction
- Plant annuals, perennials, bulbs, shrubs, and other garden material
- Rake, sweep, mulch, edge beds, and help maintain clean, polished garden spaces
- Assist with seasonal garden cleanups and plant care
- Load, unload, organize, and care for tools and materials
- Remove and properly dispose of compost garden debris
- Follow instructions, safe work practices, and site-specific standards
- Work respectfully around clients, homes, coworkers, and neighboring properties
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in plants, gardening, or horticulture
- Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Ability to listen, learn, and take direction
- Careful work habits and strong attention to detail
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to perform active physical work, including bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from client properties.
