Joint Physical Therapy Network is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Rehabilitation Center located in the scenic area of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. This role is crucial as you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the rehabilitation experience for our residents, focusing on mobility improvement and functional independence.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, which is designed to promote healing and recovery through specialized care programs. Our team enjoys a collaborative atmosphere in a facility that emphasizes innovation and a commitment to quality patient outcomes. The normal work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents to assess their physical condition, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, and overall function.
• Administer skilled therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to support ongoing recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, patient progress, and interactions within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and therapeutic approaches, contributing to a continuous improvement mindset.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and integrate evidence-based methods into patient treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be focused on a diverse population of residents, including elderly individuals and those with specific rehabilitation needs resulting from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these residents, you will tailor your approach to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• At least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience is required, although new graduates with strong educational backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and skilled in employing a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with EMR software (e.g., WebPT) is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation setting, particularly with elderly or post-operative patients.
• Expertise in developing group therapy sessions that foster community and collaboration among residents.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development to stay ahead in evolving physical therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, and a generous Paid Time Off policy that allows for 2 to 3 weeks annually.
