Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to inform treatment planning, ensuring that clients’ specific needs and goals are addressed.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary based on ongoing client feedback and progress.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and educators to deliver holistic care tailored to the individual.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health records while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments, ensuring client safety and making necessary referrals to additional services when required.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional education to keep abreast of best practices and to maintain licensure.

Your role will involve working with clients who may be struggling with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, relationship conflicts, and traumatic experiences. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC or equivalent) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services to individuals, groups, and families, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated strengths in communication, interpersonal relationships, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment and contribute to a culture of collaboration.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Previous involvement in program development and implementation within a mental health setting.
