The Medical Director is a key partner in collaboration with the CEO and COO and leads the clinical vision for the Level Three Patient Centered Medical Home. provide excellent, integrated patient care to the community, and be committed to fostering long-term, trusting relationships with patients. Enjoy a collaborative, friendly, and professional practice with a great work-life balance in a beautiful community.Overview of Duties:- Leading and implementing the clinical direction for the organization.- Identifying opportunities to collaborate and develop clinical integration with other partners and health delivery systems to achieve affordable outcomes.- Assisting with the accreditation process and maintaining standards for health management and credentialing.- Active engagement in business development opportunities and presenting business and clinical capabilities to officials, community partners, employers and other key constituents.- Providing clinical guidance, support and education to the clinical and network management organizations.- Daily oversight of risk management programs and plans to develop and implement strategic goals.- Monitoring credentialing and privileging process to ensure the provision of high quality care services.- Conducting provider performance reviews.- Participating in Senior Executive Team Management business clinical strategy development and implementation. ?- Participating as a member of the KCH Senior Executing Team in regional, state and nation meetings.- Keep abreast of emerging models in healthcare delivery and identifying new and innovative strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.Organization Facts:- 20 years serving North Idaho communities- Services include primary care, pediatrics, dentistry, behavioral health, mobile clinic,-Clinic quality ranks in the top 10% of CHCs in the country- Maintained a Level 3 PCMH status for over 4 years- Highest level of control in the state for hypertensive population- Decreased uncontrolled diabetes from 36% to 16% in 2019Compensation and Benefits:- Competitive Salary- Federal Loan Repayment- Generous PTO- Holidays, Sick Leave, New Parent Leave- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance- 401k MatchingCommunity:Sandpoint is a picturesque mountain community located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, which offers unmatched water sports, boating and fishing.
