Job description

Job Summary
At JM Test Systems, we are looking for someone who takespride in staying organized, maintaining accuracy, and supporting the day-to-daysuccess of a busy financial operation. As an Accounts Payable Support teammember, you will work closely with our accounting team to help keep vendorrecords, invoices, payment documentation, and financial processes runningsmoothly and efficiently. This role also provides administrative and clericalsupport for financial operations and assists with records retention and auditpreparation. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where yourattention to detail and teamwork make a direct impact, we encourage you toapply.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with matching invoices to purchase orders andreceiving documentation
  • Research and resolve invoice, purchase order, and vendor discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, checks, and accountinquiries
  • Assemble payment documentation and support disbursement processing
  • Maintain check release logs and vendor payment records
  • Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are processed according to agreedterms
  • Maintain vendor files, tax documentation, banking information, and contracts
  • Support annual 1099 preparation and reconciliation activities
  • Assist with financial and sales tax audit documentation requests
  • Coordinate records retention, file storage, and document destructionprocesses
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma required, additional accountingcoursework preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in accounts payable, accounting support, administrativesupport, or related office functions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with 10-key data entry and typing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and move throughout the campusas needed
