The Jewish Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional ethical standards while effectively addressing their mental health needs.
  • Conduct regular sessions to assess and review client progress, provide necessary support, and plan for appropriate discharge when goals are met.
  • Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans based on individual client needs, continually monitoring and adjusting strategies to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care is delivered to clients.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Perform intake assessments to evaluate potential clients and determine suitable treatment paths.
  • Engage in individual supervision, contributing to both professional growth and clinical skill enhancement.

Qualifications

We require the following qualifications for applicants:

  • A Master’s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
Preferred Experience

While we value all relevant experience, the following are preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Familiarity with conducting intake assessments and a strong background in using technology, including RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, and Outlook.

The Jewish Counseling Center offers an attractive compensation package comprising a base salary between USD 75,000 and 90,000 per year, based on experience and credentials.
