Job Summary

Jerk N Go Miller Beach is hiring dependable and motivated Kitchen Staff to join our team.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, follows recipes and food-safety procedures, and takes pride in preparing consistent, high-quality food.

Restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to Jerk N Go recipes and portion standards

Follow proper food preparation, sanitation, and food-safety procedures

Prepare meats, rice, pasta, vegetables, sides, and other menu items

Maintain clean and organized kitchen and food-preparation areas

Properly store, label, date, and rotate food products

Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

Monitor inventory and notify management when products are running low

Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures

Clean grills, cooking equipment, counters, refrigerators, and workstations

Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules

Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner periods

Follow instructions from management and kitchen leadership

Maintain professional and respectful communication with coworkers and customers

Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts

Qualifications

Must be dependable and punctual

Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area

Restaurant, food-service, or kitchen experience preferred

Must be available for scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant kitchen duties
