Job description

Position: Bridge Design Engineer
 

Location: Freehold, NJ 
Employment Type: Full-Time | Immediate Opening
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bridge design and structural analysis

  • Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and subconsultants

  • Conduct site visits during construction phases

  • Assist with bridge inspections and proposal preparation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

  • PE License in NJ/PA (or ability to obtain within 1–3 years)

  • 1–5 years of bridge design experience (NJDOT/NJTA/PennDOT preferred)

  • Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and STAAD Pro or similar tools

  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills

  • Valid driver’s license
