Schedule
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Rotating call coverage as required, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
  • Up to $500,000 annually
  • Equivalent hourly rate of up to $260/hour

Job Summary
JR Enterprise, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Urologist Physician (MD or DO) to provide exceptional care to our nation's Veterans at the Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, South Carolina.
The selected physician will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of urological conditions while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of urological diseases and conditions.
  • Provide onsite clinical services, including consultations, evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
  • Perform minor and major urological surgical procedures as clinically indicated.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care, including preoperative and postoperative management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records in accordance with VA policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and continuing medical education activities.
  • Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
Licensure
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Certifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent.
Credentials
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Active, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
Experience
  • Demonstrated competency in diagnosing and treating urological conditions.
  • Excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology through the American Board of Urology (ABU).
  • Prior experience within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal healthcare systems.
  • Strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
