Job description

Estate Sale Team Member – Organize, Stage & Help Run Home Sales

JP’s Estate Sales LLC – Falls Church, VA

Pay: $15/hour | Part-Time • On-Call • Project-Based
Schedule: Weekday setup shifts + rotating weekend sale shifts
Travel: Estate sale locations up to approximately 60 miles from Falls Church, VA

JP’s Estate Sales LLC is looking for dependable, energetic, and organized team members to help prepare and run estate sales throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, and surrounding areas.

If you enjoy organizing, working with people, discovering unique items, and having a job where every project is different, this could be a great fit.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Sort, organize, clean, and stage merchandise
  • Create attractive displays throughout the home
  • Assist with researching, pricing, and tagging items
  • Set up tables, signs, displays, and checkout areas
  • Provide friendly customer service during sale days
  • Assist customers with locating, wrapping, and packing purchases
  • Handle cash and customer transactions
  • Keep merchandise and sale areas organized
  • Pack remaining items and assist with breakdown after the sale

SCHEDULE

Setup and staging shifts are scheduled on weekdays.

Estate sale days are held on weekends. Weekend shifts are rotated among team members, so employees will not necessarily be scheduled for every sale weekend.

Because this is an on-call, project-based position, weekly hours will vary depending on our estate sale schedule and staffing needs.

This position involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, packing, unpacking, and assisting with moving merchandise.

PAY & TRAVEL

$15.00 per hour, paid biweekly.

Employees using their own vehicle for assigned projects may receive paid drive time for qualifying travel after the first 45 minutes of driving, according to company policy.
