Job description:

We are a window screen company looking for an installation technician to install and/or measure roller shades, fixed window screens, security screen doors, sliding screen doors, patio enclosures, awnings and additional screen related products.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High School Diploma/ GED

Essential Skills:

• Basic construction experience and willingness to learn necessary skills for job (use of hammer, screwdriver)
• Ability to use tape measure, add, subtract and divide
• Knowledge to handle tools safely
• Good attitude, customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to work alone efficiently and be a strong team player
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Time management skills to maintain daily schedule set by scheduler, properly and efficiently install products
• Punctual, dependable, and adaptable
• Detail Oriented

Physical Requirements:

• · Ability to pass a drug screen test and background check
• · Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds from ground level
• · Must be able to bend to install items at and below ground level and above head
• · Must be comfortable and able to climb and work on a ladder up to 24" high
• · Must have dexterous use of both hands and able to use both hand and power tools such as drills and screw guns
• · Drive company provided vehicle daily to job sites across the greater Phoenix area
• Ability to work all year outside

Job Functions:

• Installation, measure and repair of all screen products
• Maintain necessary paperwork flow with office
• Keep company truck organized and review daily jobs to insure products and necessary tools for jobs are loaded
• Complete daily log and conduct pre-safety inspection of vehicle
• Clean, maintain and refuel vehicle as needed
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Approximately 5-10% out of town travel (expenses paid)

Work Location:

Greater Phoenix area and occasionally out of town, typical workday M-F 6am-3:30pm
