This role involves following recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and portion ingredients, including seafood, vegetables, sauces, and seasonings.
Follow recipes and food preparation procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Stock and organize food items and kitchen supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas, equipment, and workstations.
Properly store and label food according to health and safety regulations.
Assist line cooks and kitchen staff during peak service hours.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
