Job description

JBAY LLC, dba Breezy Point Surf Club amp; Silver Gull Beach Club
There is nothing like a day at the beach especially if you happen to work there! JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2026 Summer Season.
This is a seasonal position and has an immediate start date and the last day is estimated to be in September 2026.
Grounds amp; Public Area Attendant
Responsibilities
  • Clean public common areas, including restrooms, and other guest use areas
  • Properly sanitize all assigned areas
  • Report maintenance issues and damages promptly to supervisor
  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties (if applicable) as assigned
  • Assist with a variety of guest questions and requests as necessary
  • Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
  • Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
Requirements
  • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Must be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks
  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work entire season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day without any vacation, or time away from work.
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Education amp; Experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school juniors and seniors)
Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping and / or similar experience preferred
Resort / National Park Concession experience preferred
Hourly rate of pay $17.00
