What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with at least 1.5 years of California workers' compensation defense experience. The right candidate has experience representing employers, insurance carriers, or third-party administrators (TPAs), is comfortable managing their own caseload, and can work effectively in a remote environment.

Experience Required

·       Active California Bar license

·       JD from an accredited law school

·       California workers' compensation defense experience

·       Experience appearing before the California WCAB

·       Experience taking and defending depositions

·       Ability to manage cases from start to finish

What You'll Do

·       Represent employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs in workers' compensation matters

·       Appear at WCAB hearings, conferences, and trials

·       Manage an active caseload

·       Take and defend depositions

·       Draft motions, petitions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents

·       Conduct legal research on California workers' compensation law

·       Negotiate settlements

·       Communicate regularly with adjusters and clients regarding case strategy and status
