    Day in the Life: Service Advisor

    • Complete customer service authorizations, identify all repairs through communication with customer and technicians, and provide cost estimates/quotes to customers
    • Ensure the customer has sufficient credit for work authorized and make payment arrangements as required
    • Communicate estimated job start time and completion date to the customer, updating progress as necessary, and make customer aware of any additional service work identified by the technician during inspection and/or repair
    • Assign SPGs/estimated repair times to work order segments, manage service jobs, approve technicians’ service reports and perform final inspection of the machine
    • Invoice the customer to include warranty work and review invoice with customer prior to closing work order

    Need to Succeed:

    • Exceptional customer service with ability to handle high volume of customer inquiries in person, by phone and online
    • Computer systems use, specifically in CDK or similar work order system, Microsoft Office to include Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly
    • Previous experience in a service department is strongly preferred
    • Excellent follow up with the ability to communicate well with both technicians, parts staff, and customers
