Key Responsibilities:

• Local Operations: Safely pick up and deliver containers to and from local Chicagoland rail yards.
• Safety First: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Cargo Security: Properly secure containers and chassis prior to transport.
• Communication: Maintain open, professional communication with the dispatch team throughout your shift.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• License: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
• Intermodal: Prior intermodal/rail yard experience is preferred, but not required (we will train the right candidate).
• Safety Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Screening: Must be able to pass a standard DOT physical and drug screening.
• Professionalism: Must be reliable, punctual, safety-focused, and possess a strong work ethic.
