WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Franciscan Physician Network seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to meet the growing demand for outpatient psychiatric services at Franciscan Physician Network Behavioral Health Munster, IN. This outpatient position focuses on psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and medication management.

WHAT WE NEED

Ideal candidates have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. They will display exceptional interpersonal skills, a desire to develop strong ties with the community, and build long‑lasting relationships with patients. Physicians will work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Flexible full‑time schedule
  • Weekday call rotation 1:4
  • No evening or night call – Tele‑Psych covers evening & night call during the week and on weekends
  • Average outpatient volume: approximately 20 patients per day
  • Comprehensive continuum of care
  • Experienced clinical support staff

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Physician License (MD/DO) – required upon hire
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry and Neurology – required
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry – required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association, required upon hire
