Join a fast growing restaurant Group and work at the beach!Island Time Hospitality Operates some of Long Island's busiest summer beach venues including Salt Shack at Cedar Beach, The Boatyard and Surf Shack at Tobay BeachThe Restaurant Assistant Manager assists the General manager in the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation.Assistant Manager will- Assist and oversee Purchase orders are being placed through the management software- Price compare invoices with Purchase orders- Schedule staff based off weekly labor allotment- Monitor Cost Controls -Oversee Daily Employee Checklists- Follow Budget Variance Reports-Conduct weekly inventory-Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives- Hiring, Discipline, Training, etc.-Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control-Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation standards .
