Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Job Description

Clinical Support: Perform four-handed dentistry and chairside suctioning to assist the dentist during complex procedures.
Restorative Procedures: Utilize CEREC technology for esthetic ceramics and apply dental sealants and impressions with precision.
Advanced Imaging: Capture high-quality Bitewing X-rays and operate Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) equipment.
Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
Administrative Integration: Utilize Eaglesoft for charting, treatment planning, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Salary Range

Full-time $43,000 - $49,900 per year

Requirements

• CEREC
• Eaglesoft
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Qualifications & Requirements:
Certification: EFDA Certification is required.
Experience: * 2 years of Chairside Assisting (Preferred).
1 year of Eaglesoft experience (Preferred).
Location: Ability to commute to Fleming Island, FL 32003.
Technical Skills & Skills Needed
Advanced Imaging: Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and Bitewing X-rays.
Restorative Tech: Experience with CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics).
Clinical Proficiency: Four-handed dentistry, chairside suctioning, dental impressions, and dental sealant application.
Software: Proficiency in Eaglesoft.
