Job description

Position Summary:

The Senior Assistant Manager oversees the day to day operations of the operating unit and leads a team. This role mentors and develops the resident services team, promptly handles resident escalations, resolves customer questions and concerns, and upholds customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hires, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of team members, ensuring established performance metrics and objectives are achieved.
  • Provides excellent customer service by anticipating customer’s needs, taking ownership and resolving questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Supervises and ensures community common areas, grounds and vacant units are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards.
  • Oversees and ensures the timely completion of all administrative resident services tasks and resident retention activities ensuring they are accurately documented in the appropriate operating platform.
  • Ensures audit compliance to Standard Operating Policies/Procedures (SOPs).
  • Executes administrative accounting processes for the operating unit.
  • Drives efficiency by adopting and maximizing the use of new and existing technologies.
Additional Skills:
  • Proficiency in Google suite
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Salesforce, RealPage or Coupa is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Education:
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent experience
Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:
  • 2 - 5 years
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel between communities may be required daily.
  • Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $33.17 - $41.25

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
