Ironbound Medical Services

Located in the Ironbound section of Newark, our reception staff is required to speak English and Spanish fluently and provide professional, helpful front desk assistance to walk-in and scheduled patients. They are responsible for answering phone calls, assisting patients in completing their paperwork, accurately entering demographic information into the computer, emailing and/or faxing paperwork to our client companies, and various other common receptionist tasks. Candidates should have a friendly demeanor, a strong memory, and be able to multitask in a busy medical office. Benefits include competitive pay, 10 days per year of PTO, 6 paid major holidays off, medical insurance requiring a competitive per paycheck contribution, a 40-hour full-time work week, and optimally an 8:00am to 5:00pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday work schedule.

We are a primarily Occupational Medicine office that sees mostly healthy patients who need employment physicals or treatment of work injuries. All types of testing are done by our clinical team members, which makes the CMA position a very interesting one. If you're interested in healthcare and helping people, you'll love working here & learn a lot! While clinical experience is a plus, it's not mandatory for hiring purposes.
