Iron Core Rentals

This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Iron Core Rentals equipment and machinery marketed by the dealership. The Technician works independently to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring equipment is properly prepared for delivery and customer use.

$24 - $36 hourly

• Service all types of iron core rental equipment
• Perform basic and complex diagnostics independently
• Resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner
• Perform pre-delivery inspections on equipment and merchandise offered for sale
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required for set-up and delivery
• Follow all safety rules and regulations during work assignments
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately
• Account for all time and materials used during service assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience That Prepare You for Success

• Participation in Service Education Training programs to support ongoing skill and knowledge development.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.

Strong knowledge of:

• Engines
• Hydraulics
• Powertrain systems
• Air-conditioning systems
• Electrical systems as applied to dealership equipment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in pre-delivery and set-up processes.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
• Ability to maintain labor performance standards and billable hours as directed by Service Leaders
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Repetitive hand use up to 7 hours per day
• Walk or stand up to 7 hours per day
• Squat or kneel up to 3 hours per day
• Sit up to 4 hours per day
• Perform computer/keyboard work up to 2 hours per day
