Title: Business Data Analyst
Job Type: Contract – 6 months
Location: Newark, NJ – onsite five days a week
Good storytelling starts with great listening. At our client, that means each role and every project has our audience in mind. Because the same people who design, develop, and deploy our products also happen to use them. To us, that speaks volumes.
About This Role
The Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) Business Data Analyst will conduct work that enhances the global presence of ACX, our creator marketplace that connects rightsholders with performers and producers to create their audiobooks. The ACX Community Relations team works with internal stakeholders as well as the "indie” creator community – to enhance existing and create new policies and programs that serve the ACX community.
About You
You are a fast learner who will master the intricacies of ACX's operations while simultaneously serving as a business partner to members of the creative community. You are passionate about working with creators and have a solid understanding of their needs. You thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic and not afraid to take risks.
As the ACX Community Operations Specialist, you will...

  • Coordinate and provide support for tasks, projects, and meetings for the ACX Creator & Community relations team, particularly related to Fraud prevention, Royalties questions, and other escalations
  • Maintain policy documentation and support various programs that support the ACX community
  • Learn and leverage new tools — including AI-powered platforms — to manage data and list creation for email campaigns sent to our ACX community
  • Analyze and leverage data — including royalty statements and emerging compensation models — to drive and inform critical business decisions
  • Act as a trusted voice of the ACX community to our leaders in Product, Risk Management, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, and other internal Audible teams.
  • Apply strategic thinking to navigate complex fraud scenarios, collaborating with Risk Management and Legal teams to protect the ACX ecosystem
  • Draft policy language, communications, and program verbiage with sensitivity to legal nuance and brand voice

Basic Qualifications
  • College degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar
  • 1+ years of experience in working with data, analytics, and AI systems/tools
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively in high-energy, rapidly evolving organization
  • Up to date with emerging trends on social, passionate about building online communities
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and strong skills in PowerPoint
  • Comfort with AI-powered tools and a willingness to adopt emerging technologies
