Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client goals and circumstances.
• Providing specialized, evidence-based therapy, utilizing various modalities to promote emotional healing and personal growth.
• Setting clear therapeutic goals for clients, tracking their progress, and adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Facilitating virtual therapy sessions to accommodate clients who may face accessibility challenges.
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and local regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population includes individuals seeking support for various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related conditions. As a counselor at International Client-centered Therapy, you will tailor your approach based on individual client needs, drawing on your passion for personalized care while navigating unique challenges and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should have:

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. A Master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.
• A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities to ensure effective case management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy, trauma-informed care, or specialized training in mental health treatment modalities will find their skills particularly valued in our practice. Compensation and Benefits
