- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 4 plus years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in Java and well versed in Spring Boot, Microservices patterns, event based architecture
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages (Java, ReactJS) and database querying languages
- Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
- Well versed in both RDBMS and NoSQL
- Experience with micro services and Test Driven Development architecture
- Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
- Hands-on experience in one or more AWS services specifically ECS/EKS, Lambda, MSK, SNS, API Gateway, Step functions, storage services
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Practical cloud native experience, AWS is preferred
- Exposure to Behavior driven development using Cucumber
- Exposure to micro frontend UI using technologies like ReactJS, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Hands-on experience designing and developing highly scalable, highly resilient, low latency, self-monitored applications
