Job Summary
As an SOC (Security Operations Center) Operations Analyst; reporting to the facility Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting Inter-Con's distinguished Officers in the field by playing a critical role in assessing threats and monitoring our security operations in real-time. You will join a dynamic and growing team that is responsible for responding to security incidents, gathering intelligence, and developing reports for upper management. Primary Responsibilities
  • Supports the Operations Managers in ensuring execution of security procedures, responses at all posts by monitoring and maintaining alarm systems, responding to alarm activations, troubleshooting alarm issues, and reporting related security incidents.
  • Ensures effective response to emergency and non-emergency situations, timely completion of reports and other requirements as directed by the SOC Manager.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly testing of duress, wellness, and assist alarms. Document and report any issues identified during testing.
  • Employ the use of various systems software, security and communications equipment.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, review incident reports, and conduct quarterly audits of CCTV equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
  • Monitor local news and media outlets for events or incidents that could affect company operations and escalate as necessary.
  • Notifies and communicates with the Operations Managers and other senior personnel as required to ensure a common operating picture of the area of operations.
  • Monitor the primary radio channel and dispatch Access Control Officers (ACOs) as needed to respond to incidents or service requests.
  • Monitor security applications and triage alerts, escalating where appropriate.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents to contain and remove security threats as safely and quickly as possible.
  • Respond to emergencies and report any breaches or deviations from established security or safety protocols.
  • Create and continue to develop cases using threat intelligence information and lessons learned as a result of any incidents and alerts.
  • Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to assist SOC Manager to drive operations.

Qualifications
  • Preferred candidate has either an honorable military discharge, an AA degree, or 1 year of experience in a center/security dispatch environment. Understanding of security operations & FEMA ICS/Watch officer training a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in Security and law enforcement work preferred.
  • Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Technologically savvy - experienced with MS Office Suite.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service orientation a plus.
  • Comfortable in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with Senior Management.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a high tempo environment.
  • A dependable Team player with maturity, that participates in problem solving with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Can independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other products that may be needed (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.)
