IP Network Engineer III
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IP Network Engineer to support a team responsible for nationwide augments, migrations, and provisioning. This role is crucial for addressing a significant backlog of projects and ensuring their timely completion. The position involves troubleshooting across multiple sites and working with a range of network technologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage network augments, migrations, and provisioning tasks.
  • Provide support for customer issues and sales-related network inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple locations.
  • Work with Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, and Ciena network equipment.
  • Contribute to completing a backlog of approximately 500 projects by the end of the year.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of network engineering experience, preferably from large Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
  • Experience with migration, augment, provisioning, and customer support.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting across multiple sites.
  • Technical experience with network hardware, in order of importance: Juniper (NX480, NX960), Cisco (7000 series, 9000 series), Nokia (7210, 7750), and Ciena.
Preferred Qualifications
  • JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA, or CCNP certifications.
  • Previous experience on an I&O Engineering or CBO Engineering team at Charter is a plus.
