Title: Chartered Engineer – Technical Inspection & Valuation (Used Instruments)
Location: Sunnyvale, California, USA (On-site)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer to inspect and certify approximately 100 used instruments/equipment for regulatory import compliance into India.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical inspection of used instruments/equipment at client site.
Assess operational condition, technical specifications, functionality, and year of manufacture.
Prepare certified reports for:
- Technical Inspection
- Fair Market Value / Valuation
- Residual Life Assessment
- Confirm equipment is functional, non-obsolete, non-scrap, and suitable for continued use.
Requirements:
- Licensed PE in the U.S. or equivalent Chartered Engineer certification.
- Experience in industrial equipment/instrument inspection.
- Background in machinery valuation and lifecycle assessment.

- Valuation Certificates
- Residual Life Certificates
