Job description

Job Summary:
Integrity Management Consulting is seeking a GIS Application & Database Developer. The role involves developing GIS tools and applications, performing complex analyses, and ensuring quality control of software and databases.
Responsibilities:
• Full-time support.
• Staff in this category work independently to develop GIS tools and applications, perform complex analyses, and develop multi-layered maps accomplished by using an appropriate combination of tools found in the GIS application suite and other programming environments.
• Design and implement data conversion procedures and perform software and database quality control.
• Work closely with the GIS user community to determine specific application requirements and specifications.
• Perform project planning, requirements analysis, database design and development, and quality assurance and quality control.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Middle level shall have six years and senior level shall have at least ten years of experience in GIS and related development.
• Experience in GIS concepts, computer graphics fundamentals, and relational database fundamentals and concepts is essential.
• Must have experience in the development of complex analysis and mapping projects.
• Must be proficient in the coding of software and manipulating digital databases as well as using GIS programming languages, Internet markup languages, and other, pertinent technologies.
• Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing.
• Leads application development team.
• Works with other members of a program team (i.e. infrastructure, security, etc.) to ensure applications meet Client IT requirements.
