Job description

INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians (ICP), is recruiting for a Full-time, BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist.  This great opportunity will be a part of an established group at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. We are seeking someone proficient in complex ablation procedures, including VT ablation.  INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians has over 35 physicians (three Electrophysiologists) with clinics all over the state. The Cardiac EP practice is growing, with two new EP labs to open in 2024. Our new Heart and ICU Hospital will have 64 ICU beds, multiple cardiac catheterization labs, cardiovascular operating rooms, hybrid operating rooms, electrophysiology heart labs, and convenient cardiac diagnostic testing areas.

The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
  • Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
  • Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
  • Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
  • Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
  • Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
  • Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
  • The Physician is responsible for patients.

This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
