Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: DFW Airport, TX 75261
Pay: $19.50/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Schedule: Overtime as needed; hours may change during peak season

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This position involves a combination of hands-on warehouse duties and clerical responsibilities, including receiving, inspecting, packing, recording, and routing materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and verify items against shipping records
• Inspect received materials for condition and accuracy
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications
• Prepare shipments based on the required transportation method
• Accurately record received and shipped items following established procedures
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or designated stock areas
• Complete written and computerized documentation
• Maintain accurate records and follow established shipping and receiving procedures
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed

Schedule

• Regular Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Overtime: As needed
• Peak Season: Schedule may change to a 10-hour shift, with an 11:00 AM start time and an end time of approximately 9:30 PM or when the work is completed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 1 year of related experience
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to accurately complete written and computerized documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime and adjusted hours during peak season

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Required)
• Forkllift: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Forklift Certification (Preferred)
