URGENT NEED: San Ramon Area

Location: This position serves clients throughout Contra Costa County. The role is not limited to Walnut Creek or San Ramon only.

Schedule: Flexible, Day Schedule - must be able to complete hours between 8:30am and 6pm.

We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals who want to make a real difference. As an Independent Living Instructor, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities-helping them master essential life skills like personal care, health maintenance, social engagement, money management, and more.


What You'll Do:
Build strong, respectful relationships with clients
Teach everyday life skills with patience, care, and cultural sensitivity
Support clients with appointments, social events, errands, and community access - including providing transportation when needed
Champion independence, empowerment, and self-advocacy
Keep clear, timely records and collaborate with a supportive team
Be part of a mission that truly matters


What You Bring:
A heart for service and a passion for helping others grow
At least 6 months of experience in human services or supporting people with disabilities
Strong communication and organization skills
Fluency in English or Spanish (bilingual preferred)
High school diploma or GED


Must Haves:
Valid CA driver's license, reliable & insured vehicle, and clean driving record
Willingness to drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, and other essential activities
Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (if not already certified)
Ability to pass a background check
