Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients via video conferencing, ensuring a safe and confidential space for discussion.
• Guide clients in exploring and articulating their feelings and experiences, helping them understand their emotions better.
• Assist clients in establishing and reaching their therapeutic goals, providing structured encouragement and accountability.
• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment plans, adjusting approaches as needed to ensure effective care.
• Advise clients on healthy coping mechanisms and strategies to manage stress and emotional challenges.
• Utilize our advanced counselor dashboard for efficient management of client information, session notes, and billing, minimizing administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor with Inspired Heart Behavioral Therapy, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including stable adults seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our screening process ensures that you engage with individuals who are equipped to benefit from therapeutic interventions, allowing you to focus on high-quality care without the complexities often associated with higher-acuity populations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice independently. Acceptable licenses include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychoanalyst
• Psychologist
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using technology for therapy and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy or those who possess a background in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will find their skills beneficial in this role. Additionally, familiarity with various mental health issues and client demographics will enhance your effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and licensure.
