Job Description

insightsoftware is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to win new business among the largest, most strategic prospects in our market: public companies and the CFOs, controllers, SEC reporting managers and other finance executives who lead them. This role targets our biggest, best and most complex opportunities, and success requires more than individual hustle. The Enterprise Account Executive acts as the leader and project manager of a cross-functional deal team, orchestrating solution consultants, presales engineers and other subject matter experts through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. This person builds a coalition of internal and external stakeholders around every opportunity, keeps a complex deal moving through every stage, and is judged on outcomes as much as effort. A “lone wolf” approach will not succeed in this role — this is a team sport, and the Enterprise Account Executive is the captain.

What You Will Do

Lead new logo acquisition targeting the largest, most complex public-company accounts in our addressable market. Act as the executive quarterback and project manager for each opportunity, assembling and directing a virtual deal team of solution consultants, presales engineers and other internal experts through every stage of the sales cycle. Own the full enterprise sales cycle end to end: qualification, discovery, solution design, executive presentations, RFP responses, contract negotiation, close and a clean transition to the delivery and customer success teams. Build and maintain executive-level relationships and networks with CFOs, controllers, SEC reporting managers and other finance leaders, both within insightsoftware and across the broader market. Develop and execute account and territory strategies for complex, multi-stakeholder public-company organizations. Coordinate internal resources and hold the deal team accountable to a shared plan and timeline, communicating clearly with stakeholders at every level, from individual contributors to the C-suite. Communicate market feedback, competitive intelligence, new opportunities and product-penetration strategy to sales leadership and cross-functional partners. Maintain accurate, disciplined forecasts and CRM records to support pipeline visibility and revenue planning.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field preferred. Eight or more years of financial technology sales experience, with a track record of winning net-new business at large, complex public companies. Experience selling or strong familiarity with at least one of the following: SAP financial intelligence solutions, Oracle financial intelligence solutions, enterprise tax and accounting solutions, or ERP solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a cross-functional deal team — solution consultants, presales engineers, professional services and executive sponsors — through long, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles. Individual contributors accustomed to working alone will not thrive in this role. Strong executive presence and outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence CFOs, controllers and other senior finance leaders. Demonstrated strength in negotiation, financial and analytical thinking, and value-based selling. Familiarity with a structured enterprise sales methodology (for example, MEDDIC, MEDDPICC or Command of the Message) is preferred. Proven history of securing new accounts and expanding relationships across a public-company customer base. A polished, professional, executive-ready presence. A collaborative, team-first mindset — this role is built around leading and being accountable to a team of solution experts, not working in isolation.

Salary

The salary range in United States of America for this position is 160,000.00 to 201,000.00 USD Annual. For sales roles, this range includes the commission target. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply. Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications.
