Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work primarily in a remote environment, utilizing technology to conduct virtual therapy sessions with students and their families. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions using teletherapy platforms to support students' mental health.
• Assess clients' emotional and psychological needs through comprehensive evaluations, including interviews and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments, focusing on evidence-based practices.
• Support clients in setting realistic personal growth goals, advocating for their needs while fostering resilience and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external resources to create a comprehensive support system for each client.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues related to school and home environments. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each student, fostering a positive environment for growth and learning.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington without any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in social work.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build rapport with clients, families, and educational staff.
• Proficiency in using technology for teletherapy, including video conferencing tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a school-based setting or with youth populations is highly desirable.
• familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, or other related approaches.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly in educational environments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $52,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
