Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health status and identify specific needs.
• Design individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, ensuring they address clients' unique challenges.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive approaches to care.
• Monitor client progress, providing continuous support and adjusting therapeutic strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate regular check-ins and maintain clear communication with clients, helping them build effective coping mechanisms.
• Coordinate referrals to other specialists or healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management may be needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with span a diverse demographic spectrum, presenting various mental health conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. This position demands a deep understanding of cultural sensitivities and a commitment to delivering care in an inclusive manner, as you will interface with clients from varied backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a mental health professional in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, showcasing a strong foundation in various treatment methods.
• Expertise in evidence-based intervention strategies and a robust understanding of mental health disorders.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
