  • Assist providers chairside during basic clinical procedures, including instrument passing, maintaining a clear operative field, and managing patient comfort throughout the appointment.
  • Prepare materials, instruments, and equipment for each procedure type and ensure rooms are broken down and reset efficiently between patients.
  • Support patient flow throughout the day by anticipating room turnover needs and minimizing transition time between appointments.

Patient Experience & Communication

  • Communicate basic procedural information to patients in a clear, friendly, and professional manner that supports comfort and understanding.
  • Escort patients to and from treatment areas and ensure each patient is properly prepared and informed before the provider enters.
  • Reinforce provider post-operative instructions and home care guidance with patients following treatment as directed.

Protocol Adherence & Development

  • Follow the practice's established 30/60/90-day onboarding protocols and actively work toward achieving competency benchmarks within each phase.
  • Participate in training programs, team huddles, and continuing education to develop clinical skills and earn required certifications.
  • Comply with all infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards consistently and without exception.
