A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a AI Engineer.
 
Position type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 12 months contract to hire
Location: Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC & Irving TX (Hybrid – 3days onsite & 2 days WFH)
 
As a AI Engineer, you will:

• Accelerate business use cases via Agentic AI with focus on using frameworks like Agent Development Kit (ADK) and LangChain.
• Have strong background in MLOps and LLMOps.
• Ensure adherence to the Banking Platform Architecture and meeting non-functional requirements with each release.
• Engage with architects and experienced engineers to incorporate Technology technical strategies, while understanding next generation domain architectures to enable application migration paths to target architecture. For example, Mainframe to Java migration; or .Net and Java version migration.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for driving resolution of technology roadblocks including code, build and deployment while also managing overall software development cycle and security standards.
• Conduct peer reviews to evaluate quality and solution alignment to technical direction.
• Interpret, develop, and ensure security, stability, and scalability within functions of technology with low to moderate complexity, as well as identify, manage and mitigate technology and enterprise risk.
• Influence technology requirements and priorities in the product roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Software Engineering foundation with hands-on experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in Python development and experience with Java is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control and development workflows including creating branches, code collaboration and merging into main branches.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers across different technology stacks.
• Practical experience in Generative AI (GenAI) with a strong emphasis on real-world application.
• Experience working in banking or other highly regulated environments is highly preferred.
• Utilize Python to extract and process data from PDFs and documents for integration with AI-driven applications.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70 - $75 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
