Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health issues, leading to the design of personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques that promote personal growth and resilience.
• Set therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, tracking their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed to enhance effectiveness.
• Deliver teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients who may have mobility challenges or prefer virtual interactions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to uphold ethical standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to advance your clinical skills and stay informed about the latest trends in therapy and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Inner Summit, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. The emphasis on cultural competency enables you to provide tailored support that respects and integrates clients' unique experiences and values. Your interventions will be instrumental in helping clients navigate relationship dynamics, mental health concerns, and life transitions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Possession of a current license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Maryland or eligibility for licensure.
• Proven experience working with culturally diverse populations, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges faced by different communities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing remote therapy services, utilizing online platforms effectively to engage clients.
• Familiarity with clinical tools and methodologies relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in both in-person and remote settings.

Compensation and Benefits

Inner Summit Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide:
